Why WE must stand AGAINST Rehab Center at 3110 Octavia St.

Do we need Tenderloin Drug Addicts Attempting Rehab in the Marina?
To provide diversion programs and allow for the avoidance of long prison sentences, troubled individuals with serious criminal allegations pending will be brought in for semi-permanent residence to the Marina District from the Tenderloin and other blighted City areas.

Do you want 100s of Troubled Individuals Introduced in Our Neighborhood?
A 68-bed facility located at Octavia and Lombard is part the San Francisco Public Health Departments plan to seek to create a recovery hub right here in the Marina. Occupants will rotate out every 13 months, creating a revolving door of troubled individuals introduced into our neighborhood.

Will Drug Dealers be Excluded? How Can The City Identify Sexual Predators?
Presumably Marina residents will have no access to records of crimes committed. Located less than 1000 feet from three schools, the Moscone Playground and other areas frequented by children, women and vulnerable adults. We do not know who these individuals are and what criminal behavior they engaged in before being caught. Neither does the City. We only know they all have troubled histories, drug addictions and serious criminal allegations pending.
